The Opportunity & Contract Profile
Join the operational team of a prestigious independent school known for its historic campus and high standards of upkeep. This is a critical leadership role demanding excellent logistical planning and practical skills to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the entire estate.
- Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year).
- Working Hours: Standard 37 hours per week (flexibility required for events/emergencies).
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Operational Leadership: Full management and supervision of the premises team (caretakers, cleaning, maintenance).
- Compliance & Safety: Responsibility for all site security, compliance (H&S, fire safety), and managing statutory inspections.
- Facilities Management: Oversight of routine maintenance schedules, contractor liaison, and management of the site budget.
Essential Requirements & Benefits
- Candidate Profile: Proven experience in facilities management or as a senior Site Manager, strong knowledge of building systems, and relevant H&S qualifications.
- Compensation: Highly competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications (ranging from £38,000 – £45,000+).
