Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire branch are seeking SEMH Teachers for welcoming schools in Sheffield . We are looking for compassionate and resilient educators who can create a supportive learning environment, deliver engaging lessons, and help pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs reach their full potential.

The Social, Emotional and Mental health needs Teacher will have a rewarding opportunity to positively influence pupils' academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal development through tailored teaching and consistent support.

SEMH Teacher Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH
* Foster a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
* Implement behaviour support strategies to promote positive learning outcomes
* Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching approaches where required
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and families to support pupil development
* Promote safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and positive relationships throughout the school day

SEMH Teacher Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
* Previous experience teaching pupils with SEMH needs is desirable
* Strong understanding of behaviour management and inclusive teaching strategies
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils who require additional support
* Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
