A well-established Independent School in Stockport is looking to appoint a motivated and inspiring Year 2 Teacher from January 2026 . This is a Full-Time Year 2 Teacher position within a school that is committed to academic achievement, pastoral care, and character development.
The Independent School
The Stockport-based Independent School is renowned for its personalised approach to education, combining academic rigour with creativity and a strong sense of community. From January 2026 , the new Full-Time Year 2 Teacher will contribute significantly to the success of the KS1 department.
The Year 2 Teacher Role
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.
- Provide personalised learning opportunities for pupils.
- Monitor progress carefully and set ambitious targets for achievement.
- Build strong relationships with parents and colleagues.
- Contribute to the Independent School’s vibrant extracurricular programme.

- QTS and experience in KS1.
