Finance & HR Assistant - South Yorkshire - January 2026

A growing secondary school in South Yorkshire is seeking a reliable and organised Finance & HR Assistant to join its business support team from January 2026.

This role supports both financial operations and people management, working closely with senior leaders to ensure smooth day-to-day processes.

The Role

You will support the school’s finance and HR functions, including:

• Processing purchase orders, invoices and reconciliations

• Supporting budget monitoring and reporting

• Maintaining staff records and recruitment documentation
