6 Month Contract With A Local Authority
Job Purpose
Lead the Asset Data Team to ensure the effective management, analysis and use of housing asset data to support strategic investment planning and service delivery. The role is responsible for developing data-led investment plans, providing leadership on asset data matters, driving continuous improvement through data analysis, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, customer-focused outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction and day-to-day management of the Asset Data Team.
- Act as the lead on asset data matters, ensuring accurate, reliable and accessible asset information to support decision-making.
- Oversee the effective use of the organisation's 30-year asset management plan, translating long-term priorities into deliverable five-year and annual investment programmes.
- Develop and maintain a data-driven five-year investment plan that reflects the condition of the housing stock and aligns with organisational strategic objectives.
- Analyse trends in responsive repairs, voids and other asset performance data to identify opportunities to reduce demand, improve efficiency and enhance service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including residents, resident groups, elected members and partner organisations, managing expectations and promoting excellent customer service.
- Support continuous improvement by ensuring asset data informs strategic planning, operational performance and investment decisions.
Requirements
- Experience leading or managing an asset data, asset management or property data function.
- Strong understanding of housing asset management principles and investment planning.
- Experience analysing complex data sets and using insights to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Ability to develop and manage long-term and medium-term investment programmes.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with residents, internal teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and customer outcomes.
Additional Information
- Location: Office-based initially, with hybrid working available following induction (minimum of 3 days per week in the office, subject to manager discretion).
- Hours per week: 35 hours.
- Payment: Bi-weekly.
