About the Role (Part-Time Permanent):

• Delivering engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across the curriculum, potentially catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and/or Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11) in line with the National Curriculum.
• Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, respectful dialogue, and an appreciation for diverse religious and philosophical viewpoints.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the RE curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision and national guidelines.
• Building strong relationships with students and fostering their confidence and curiosity about RE.
• Participating in departmental and whole-school events, contributing to the wider school community (pro-rated for part-time role).

• A qualified RE teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students in RE.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment that explores a variety of religions and philosophies.
