We are recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor for an experienced No.2 Site Manager to support the delivery of a £11M new build industrial development in Kent.
The Project
Working alongside the Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a new build industrial unit, including:
- Groundworks and foundations
- Structural steel frame
- External envelope
- Industrial fit-out
- Office fit-out, including M&E installations
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager with the day-to-day management of site operations
- Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards
- Monitor Health & Safety compliance, quality and site progress
- Assist with programme management, site logistics and sequencing
- Maintain accurate site records and progress reporting
- Liaise with commercial, technical and design teams throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager or No.2 Site Manager on industrial or commercial new build projects
- Strong understanding of steel frame construction and industrial developments
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)
- Temporary Works Coordinator and Fire Marshal qualifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience using Procore would be advantageous
- Must have access to a laptop and mobile phone
