Warehouse Operative

Salary: £12.71 per hour Working Hours: 1am – 9.30am Availability: Immediate Aligra is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in talent management and recruitment for various industries, including Automotive and Engineering, Driving and Industrial, Hospitality, and Professional and Executive sectors. We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Warehouse Operative in Maidstone. Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of warehouse tasks, including but not limited to scanning, sorting, and heavy lifting.
• Ensure all products are stored and labeled correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Prepare orders for delivery or pick up by checking for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in loading and unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles or containers.
• Use warehouse management systems to input data and track inventory.
• Conduct regular stock checks to identify any discrepancies or issues.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
• Availability to work from 1am to 9am.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and scanning devices.
