We are working closely with local councils, SEND services, and education providers in the Chester-Le-Street area to deliver tailored, one-to-one and small group Functional Skills support. We're currently recruiting experienced Tutors to teach Maths, English, and PSHE at Entry Level 3, Level 1, and Level 2. About the Role Were seeking dedicated Functional Skills Tutors in the Newcastle area to work with students who arent currently in full-time education. These learners may be facing emotional or behavioural challenges, so were looking for Tutors who are calm, adaptable, and committed to helping them re-engage with learning in a positive way. Sessions are delivered in person - this could be in a local community space, an alternative provision setting, or sometimes within the students home environment. Let me know if you'd like versions tailored for different regions or with slight tone changes! Position Details: · Pay rate up to GBP30 per hour depending on qualification and/or experience· Up to 15 hours per week per student

· Access to CPD accredited courses and training Your role with us: · Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in Functional Skills Maths and/or English
· Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps.
· Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families.
· Create a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students re-build their confidence in learning.
· Complete daily attendance and weekly reports. To be eligible for this role, the potential Functional Skills Tutors must: · Previous experience with functional skills
· Hold the right to work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
