Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on experience

Are you passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their development?

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Middleton. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an Early Years setting, supporting children as they begin their educational journey and helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.

• Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities through play-based learning.
• Provide support to individual pupils and small groups.
• Help promote children's social, emotional and educational development.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
• Support children's communication, language and literacy development.
• Assist with observations and contribute to children's learning records where required.
• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.

• Have experience working with young children in a school, nursery or childcare setting.
• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (desirable).
• Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Be patient, caring and enthusiastic.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be committed to supporting every child to achieve their full potential.
