Production Operative, Kirkby in Ashfield
£12.71 per hourA busy and growing manufacturing business in Kirkby-in-Ashfield are looking for Production Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
In this Production Operative role you will be working with metal products – jet washing, preparing and hanging them ready for treatment and processing.
If you have previously worked in a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative or similar role this would be beneficial, however if you have a strong work ethic with a desire to develop we’d love to hear from you!
Rotating Shifts: 6am – 2:30pm / 2pm – 10:30pm / 10pm – 6:30am
Pay: £12.71ph (days), £13.34ph (afters), £14.59ph (nights)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Duties of a Production Operative Include:
- Jet washing metal products prior to processing
- Ensuring products are clean and prepared for refurbishment
- Working outside under a covered canopy area
- Handling and preparing metal products
- Hanging metal items onto hooks and frames ready for treatment and processing
- Working within a busy engineering/manufacturing environment
