Hospital Speciality Training Executive Officer - Belfast

Join the Public Sector in Belfast as a Hospital Specialty Training Executive Officer and support the coordination and delivery of medical training programmes within a busy healthcare environment. You will play a key role in ensuring processes run efficiently through effective administration and organisation.

About this role:

• £14.06 per hour
• Monday to Thursday (9am - 5pm) & Friday (8.30am - 4.30pm)
• 37.5 hours a week
• Duration: immediate start for 2 months with potential extension

What you'll be doing in this role:

• Liaising with Lead Educators to determine the process of recruitment
• Create and manage vacancies via the online application system
• Coordination of dates and panel membership for shortlisting and interviews, ensuring at all times that there is compliance with equality and diversity legislation
• Coordinate interview schedules
• Ensuring all documentation for interviews is prepared
• Assist with the arrangements for pre-placement checks, including references for
  those appointed.
• Provide advice and information to panel members as appropriate

What you'll need for this role:

• GCSE Maths and GCSE English (A-C) OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate literacy and numeracy OR higher qualification
• PLUS2 A Levels OR equivalent OR higher qualification
• PLUS  18 months’ relevant experience working in an office environment carrying out administrative duties
• OR minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience working in an office environment carrying out administrative duties
• Experience in the use of MS Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and improve services, systems, and customer service
• Demonstrated ability to manage, analyse, and evaluate information to aid effective decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to plan, allocate, and evaluate work for staff and self
• Possess a full UK driving license
