We are looking to recruit dynamic and experienced Part-Time Vocal Coach to work across our family of schools in Dubai, UAE, teaching children aged 4 to 16 years, from beginners to advanced performers. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative professional with exceptional teaching skills and a strong knowledge of music education who is looking to join a growing Performing Arts team, providing 'An inspiring world of education' to the students in their care. You will have the freedom to use your creativity and expertise to design engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student, primarily through one-to-one tuition.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and inspiring students to develop their skills and reach their full potential. A passion for music and performance, together with excellent communication and organisational skills, is essential for this role.

Kindly note that this is a part-time role, and as such, visa sponsorship and medical insurance are not provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Vocal 1:1 lessons within the school day.

• Prepare students for ABRSM exams if required.

• Support musical performances across the Cognita schools.

• Collaborate with Music teachers within the Cognita schools as required.

• Ensure safety standards are followed, undertaking risk assessments, where necessary

• Maintain records on attendance, performance, and progress, evaluating sessions and providing constant, quality feedback to key stakeholders.

About you

Essential

• Minimum 3 years' experience teaching vocal music

• Excellent vocal teaching skills

• Ability to motivate, encourage and engage students of different ages and abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Good IT and administrative skills

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Full driving licence

Desirable

• Music Degree

• First Aid qualification

• Additional qualifications in other music disciplines

• Knowledge of Dubai music events and student performance opportunities

• Established network within the local music community
