Finance Assistant
£14.17 per hourFull-time
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team based in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance administration or transactional finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will support both income and expenditure functions, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
- Managing purchase ledger activities
- Supporting payment runs
- Maintaining supplier records
- Assisting with account reconciliations
- Raising sales invoices
- Allocating incoming receipts
- Resolving finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day administration
- Previous experience working within a finance or accounts environment
- Good understanding of accounting and financial administration processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confident communication and customer service skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Strong team-working ability
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- £14.17 per hour
- Immediate start available
- Temporary assignment through to December 2026
