Multi-Role Operative - Extrusion, Chesterfield

Location: Chesterfield

Salary: £15.67 per hour
Hours: 38 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Monday to Friday)

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• 10:00pm – 6:00am

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Role Operative – Extrusion to join a local manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for setting up and operating extrusion lines and associated equipment to meet both internal and customer specifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or extrusion experience to join a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Duties:

• Set up, operate, and carry out tool changes on extrusion lines in line with specifications
• Run fabrication and ancillary equipment to required standards
• Perform quality control checks and complete all relevant documentation
• Report faults or issues to supervisors promptly
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the work area
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting efficiency improvements
• Carry out additional duties as required by management

Experience:

• Previous extrusion or manufacturing experience
• FLT (Forklift Truck) experience is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work rotating shifts
