This is a fantastic opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor (2-4 PQE) to join a leading Legal 500-ranked firm in Shrewsbury. The role offers a broad general private client caseload, covering wills, LPAs, probate, and estate administration, with no supervisory responsibilities – allowing you to focus purely on fee earning.
You’ll be joining a friendly, down-to-earth team, working alongside experienced partners and solicitors who are committed to supporting your development. The firm is well known for its positive culture, flexible working policies, and commitment to employee wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For
- 2-4 years’ PQE in private client law (1 PQE considered with prior legal assistant experience).
- Experience handling a broad private client caseload (specialists looking to broaden their experience are welcome).
- Warm, personable, and proactive approach – the team is highly collaborative and social.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills to build rapport with a mix of local and high-net-worth clients.
- Willingness to work from the Shrewsbury office at least three days per week, with the option of hybrid working after an initial period.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £47,000, with progression opportunities available.
- Hybrid working – three days in the office, two from home after an initial period.
