Job Title: Band 6 CT Radiographer

- General Radiography: Perform a range of general imaging examinations using Samsung imaging equipment.
- Patient Care: Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred imaging services while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
- Independent Practice: Carry out CT and general imaging procedures accurately and autonomously.
- On-Call Duties: Participate in the on-call rota, responding effectively to urgent imaging requirements.
- Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and wider healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Radiation Safety: Ensure compliance with all radiation protection regulations, protocols, and best practice standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and service continuity.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning and training to maintain and develop clinical competencies. Qualifications / Requirements - Radiography Qualification: Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Registration: Current HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
- CT Experience: Previous experience working within CT imaging is essential.
- On-Call Participation: Ability and willingness to participate in the department's on-call service.
- Technical Expertise: Experience operating CT imaging systems and general radiography equipment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Professional Knowledge: Strong understanding of radiation safety, imaging standards, and clinical governance requirements.
