The University of Edinburgh is a world-class organisation. We are a large University covering a wide range of activities. In Professional Services, we support the University’s research and teaching, offering many career and role specialisms.

This role is designed to give students valuable experience of working in a professional setting while providing a meaningful opportunity to shape the experience of Widening Participation (WP) students within the Business School. WP Champions will act as a link between WP students and the wider school, building relationships with WP students, gathering their views and experiences and representing the WP student voice on the school’s WP Steering Committee. The Champions will share their findings and recommendations with the WP Steering Group at the end of each semester, helping the Business School better understand and respond to the needs of our WP students.

This post is part time, guaranteed hours with 100 hours for the duration of this contract. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
