I’m looking for a skilled tailor who can handle a few alterations at home. The job includes taking in a dress at the sides, shortening the hem, and adjusting the zipper. I also need a pair of trousers tapered and the waistband adjusted for a better fit. Comfortable with delicate fabrics (silk blend, wool), and able to provide advice on stitch types and finishes. I’d prefer someone who can come to my place, bring a small sewing kit, and has good references.
