Chartered Surveyor needed in Ripley Paying  £289.76 per day ref OR113001

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial and operational properties, ensuring assets are utilised effectively and deliver maximum value.
• Lead and negotiate lease renewals, lease reviews and rent reviews, ensuring favourable outcomes and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Prepare and oversee asset valuations, tender documentation and property appraisals.
• Manage property disposals, including sales by private treaty and public auction.
• Investigate and resolve land encroachment, boundary and occupation issues , working with legal advisers where necessary.
• Deliver and oversee industrial unit refurbishment and improvement projects, including procurement, contractor management, budget control and project delivery.
• Monitor properties identified on the risk register, implementing mitigation measures and reporting on asset-related risks.
• Provide professional property advice to internal stakeholders, senior management and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, property standards and corporate governance requirements.
• Prepare reports, business cases and recommendations to support strategic property decisions.
