Working as part of a collaborative and experienced Key Stage 2 team, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 3 curriculum, assess and monitor pupil progress, and develop positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. The school is looking for a teacher who is committed to promoting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development while maintaining high expectations for every learner.

The Role

* Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 3 National Curriculum.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports every child's learning and development.
* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment effectively to inform future planning and teaching.
* Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
* Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and school events.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
* Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2 or Year 3.
* Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Has a strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and the transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2.
* Is passionate about providing an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Promotes inclusive teaching practices and supports the individual needs of every child.
* Has a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
