Job Title: Senior Electrical Designer

Working Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
- Producing electrical design deliverables including single line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and equipment layouts
- Developing supporting documentation including bills of materials and design packs
- Taking a lead designer role across projects and proposals
- Mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level designers
- Reviewing and checking designs to ensure quality and compliance
- Collaborating across disciplines to deliver coordinated design solutions
- Ensuring all designs are safe, practical, and fit for purpose

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Designer across infrastructure or industrial projects
- Proficient in CAD and 3D modelling tools
- Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards and legislation
- Experience across multiple stages of the project lifecycle
- Good communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
- HNC/HND, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
- Professional accreditation or working towards it is desirable
