Recruitment Officer - Public Sector | Armagh
This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished administrative professional to become part of a well-established public sector organisation. Operating within a busy shared services environment, the role will support the effective delivery of key business functions, requiring strong coordination, communication and IT capabilities alongside a proactive and solution-focused approach.
About the role:
- £12.75 per hour
- 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday
- Location: Rosewood Villa, St Luke's, Armagh
- Temporary ongoing
- Hybrid working model offered if contract is extended
- Public sector
- Closing date: Thursday 27th August 2026 (we may close this role early if we receive a high volume of suitable applicants)
Duties include:
- Act as point of contact for all customers and clients ensuring queries / issues escalated where needed
- Input and manage data
- Assist with analysis and monitoring of information / statistics
- Collate information and assist with the preparation of report, documents, and proposals for senior staff
- Assist in the development and implementation of relevant systems within the service area
What you'll need for this role:
- A minimum of five GCSE's to include English Language and Maths (Grades A -C) or equivalent qualification
OR 18 months of relevant clerical / administrative experience - Ability to prioritise work to achieve set deadlines and to use own initiative
- Effective communication skills, orally, written and electronically with specific call handling experience
- Knowledge and experience in the use of information technology to include Microsoft office
