Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to support a site-based energy project in Southern Bavaria.

The successful candidate will oversee maintenance activities, ensuring the reliability and performance of key mechanical systems within an operational plant environment.

This is a supervisory role requiring strong coordination skills and experience working in live industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all mechanical maintenance activities (non hands-on supervisory role)
• Oversee maintenance of key rotating and static equipment, including:
  • Turbines
  • Pumps
  • Compressors
  • Heat exchangers
• Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies
• Coordinate inspections, including TÜV and regulatory compliance requirements
• Supervise contractors during maintenance campaigns and shutdowns
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions
• Support installation, commissioning, and overhaul activities
• Manage spare parts, inventory, and CMMS systems
• Ensure compliance with site HSE standards and procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
• Strong background in power, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments
• Solid knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical systems
• Experience working on live / brownfield sites
• Familiarity with CMMS systems
• Strong contractor coordination and supervision experience
• Fluent English required
• German (minimum B1) preferred

Contract Details:

• Location: On-site in Geretsried, Bavaria, Germany
• Duration: 6-month initial contract
• Start: ASAP
• Working Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Rate: Negotiable
