Our client is actively seeking an Associate for the Financial Restructuring practice group, between 3-6 PQE. The new incumbent will gain experience of high end financial restructuring. additional experience of finance including private capital, private credit, special sits and familiarity with PIKs, Prefs, Warrants, Converts, bespoke financing, new money in stressed /distressed situations is preferred. Outstanding academic credentials and top tier law firm experience are required.
In step with the firm's overarching growth in the finance sector in recent years, the 'very diligent and responsive' team is an important resource to a variety of banks, funds and corporates for stressed and distressed restructuring and investment opportunities. Much of the work is multi-jurisdictional, with the team often working alongside its colleagues in Europe and the US to provide a fluid and holistic service to clients, irrespective of geographical boundaries.
The work is complex, international and cutting edge; very much in the financial restructuring space as oppose to insolvency. The firm has considerable presence in London and internationally and they remain very much 'on the up'. Excellent compensation ££.
