Group Tax Manager - Leading Construction Group
£60k - £70k per annumThis is an excellent opportunity for a corporate tax specialist to join a team of in-house tax experts in a multi-national construction business based in London. You will be responsible for the group’s corporate tax responsibilities both for the UK and Internationally with a huge amount of autonomy to manage it yourself. This is an extremely varied role with a focus on management of compliance and tax advisory work.
Responsibilities:
- Tax planning, strategy and risk management
- Management of the tax compliance process, ensuring timely filing of tax returns
- Assistance with UK employment tax filings, including PSA and P11d
- Providing tax advice on new business initiatives
- The successful candidate will have an excellent background in reporting and compliance, coming from a Top 20 firm, or with previous in-house experience.
- ACA/ACCA qualified is a must, with CTA advantageous
- 3 years PQE experience, preferably with some in-house
- Knowledge of tax reporting software
- Strong understanding of international tax
- A team player with the ability to work closely with the wider finance team
