Bank Staff Nurse – Oncology 
Wolverhampton Hospital | Oncology | Bank - Ad Hoc | Part Time

Up to £25.00 per hour depending on skills and experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Working flexible hours Monday to Friday, you’ll be motivated to provide the highest standard of care.

As a Bank Staff Nurse in Oncology at our Wolverhampton Hospital , you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, you have experience in Oncology and hold the SACT (systemic anti-cancer therapies) qualification.

As an Bank Staff Nurse -Oncology you will:

• Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service

• Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy

• Fully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care 

• Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies 

• Assist consultants during clinics 

• Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies

• Access all central venous devices

• Have excellent phlebotomy skills
