This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical underwriting expertise with broker relationship management, helping deliver profitable growth across the Regional Motor Trade Combined portfolio.
As a Senior Motor Trade Underwriter you will be:
* Underwriting new and existing Motor Trade Combined business.
* Developing and managing broker relationships across the region.
* Supporting portfolio growth through effective trading and retention activity.
* Taking ownership of complex underwriting cases and negotiations.
* Acting as a technical referral point for colleagues.
* Using market and broker insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities. The successful candidate for the Senior Motor Trade Underwriter will have: * Experience underwriting and trading Motor Trade Combined business.
* Knowledge of the broker market and regional trading environment.
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* Sound underwriting judgement and technical expertise.
* Communication skills with the ability to influence brokers and stakeholders.
* Dip CII, or progress towards, would be advantageous. As a Senior Motor Trade Underwriter you will get: * Annual salary circa £66k for the right candidate.
* Annual bonus and pay review.
* Company Pension, Private Health benefits.
