Position: Sister/Charge Nurse – Oncology & Haematology
Location: The Wellington Hospital, St John's Wood, London

The Oncology and Haematology Ward at The Wellington Hospital cares for patients with a diverse range of cancer diagnoses, including breast, pancreatic, prostate and specialist neuroendocrine cancers. What you'll do
- Lead and coordinate the clinical running of the ward, ensuring safe, effective and compassionate care throughout each shift.
- Deliver expert specialist nursing care to oncology and haematology patients receiving complex treatments.
- Support, coach and develop nurses and healthcare assistants, creating a positive learning environment.
- Act as a clinical role model and provide specialist advice to patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continued development of the service.
- NMC Registered Nurse.
- Significant post registration experience within oncology, haematology or cancer nursing
- SACT (chemotherapy) competent and experienced in delivering cancer treatments.
- Previous nurse in charge or shift leadership experience.
