We have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualifying or an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing children's speech and language therapy team. Main duties of the job
We have opportunities to work across the service including Early Years, mainstream schools and complex needs. Your role will involve working across no more than two parts of the service. Sessions will be allocated depending on experience and interest. Within the Schools Team, the caseload is varied, split between delivering a core service and a buy in service into the schools. There are opportunities within pre-school, primary and secondary settings where we work in close partnership with school staff to provide a 3 tier model of universal, targeted and specialist support for children, young people and their families. Training for school staff and families is a crucial part of the service we deliver. Within the Early Years service you will be seeing children within clinics and nurseries. We deliver 1-1 dynamic assessments/ intervention and provide parent workshops and groups in our Family hubs and Children's centres. Within the complex needs service you will be working with children and families in a clinic setting and/or in a specialist resource or special school setting. About us
