Liquid Personnel is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join its client’s Learning Disabilities team based in South Tyneside.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will,
- Assess individuals with learning disabilities under the Care Act to determine their support needs
- Develop and implement person-centred care and support plans in collaboration with individuals and families
- Advocate for clients’ rights and needs, ensuring compliance with legislation such as the Mental Capacity Act and Human Rights Act
- Safeguard vulnerable individuals by identifying risks and taking appropriate action
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, educators, and housing officers

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
