We are in the fortunate position to be recruiting to an Occupational Therapist position within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary & Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership. We have 1 fixed term/secondment Rotational Band 6 Occupational Therapy post, current vacancy is within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The post is for a period of 24 months.

The post provides the opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic therapist to gain experience within a rotation in the Acute Sector, and Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership.

The post will involve working closely with Senior Occupational Therapists and multi-disciplinary/multi-agency teams to assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions in a number of settings, both inpatient and community, throughout Aberdeen City.

At present, rotations include Trauma Orthopaedics, Acute Stroke, Surgical, Acute Neuro, Vascular, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Neuro rehab, Frailty assessment and rehabilitation.

The post will involve working closely with the Senior Occupational Therapist and multi-disciplinary/multi-agency teams to assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions.

Opportunities for continuous personal development (CPD) are encouraged with regular supervision & in-service opportunities.

Applicants must be registered with HCPC, have a valid full UK Drivers Licence.

There may be a requirement to provide 7 day service cover to include weekends and Public Holiday to meet the service needs.
