Electrical Supervisor

Great opportunity to work on this Thames Valley Data Centre project for a friendly Contractor

They are keen to bring on board an experienced Electrical Supervisor to help deliver this phase of this high profile project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team of electricians, coordinate complex electrical tasks, and contribute to the successful completion of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications.
• Plan, organise, and oversee electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities across multiple sites.
• Coordinate with project managers and other departments to schedule work programmes and allocate resources effectively.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality standards are met and identify potential safety hazards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage procurement of electrical materials and equipment in collaboration with procurement teams.
• Prepare reports on project progress, resource utilisation, and safety compliance for senior management.

Skills

• Proven experience in supervising electrical teams within industrial or construction environments.
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Sound knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in the industry.
• Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

• Electrical Supervision: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• ECS Gold Card (required)
• Inspection & Testing Certificate (required)
