We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Manager to deliver expert corporate tax advice, lead complex projects, and drive strategic value for a diverse portfolio of clients.
About the Role
As a Senior Tax Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role within our clients’ Corporate Tax Advisory team, collaborating across departments to provide innovative tax solutions. You’ll work with a wide range of clients—from start-ups and scale-ups to large private companies and listed multinationals—offering tailored compliance and advisory services that support their growth and success.
This is a high-impact role offering exposure to complex tax matters, leadership opportunities, and the chance to shape the future of tax advisory through technology and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring high-quality tax compliance and advisory services
- Deliver current and deferred tax calculations and year-end group tax reporting for medium to large UK businesses
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and improve client outcomes
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the firm to support client engagement and strategic initiatives
- Oversee client onboarding, billing, and cash collection processes
- Ensure compliance with internal quality control procedures and manage risk effectively
- Drive the adoption of technology tools and shared service resources to streamline tax operations
- Lead complex tax projects and contribute to thought leadership within the firm
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded tax professional with:
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate taxation and experience handling complex tax issues
- Proven track record managing client portfolios and delivering strategic tax advice
- Experience preparing tax calculations and reports for large businesses
- Ability to lead projects and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of risk management and quality assurance in professional services
- Professional qualifications: CTA, ACA, or equivalent; degree-level education preferred
