Looking for occasional babysitting for quick date night

I’m seeking a trustworthy babysitter for occasional, short notice cover while I attend evening commitments. The job would typically involve supervising two children aged 4 and 7, playing quietly, helping with a light bedtime routine, and ensuring they’re safe until I return. Comfort with helping with a snack, setting up a movie or quiet activity, and basic first aid knowledge would be ideal. Ideally, I’d like a consistent, friendly sitter who can adapt to our routine, arrive on time, and communicate clearly about any changes. The sessions usually last 2–3 hours, and I’d appreciate someone who speaks English and is comfortable with light housekeeping related to the children (tidy up after activities, wash dishes used during play). A short background check or references would be a plus.
