Warehouse Operative / Picker
Location: WA9
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Picker to join our busy team based in WA9. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse, ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.
What you'll be doing:
Picking and assembling timber, wood mouldings, and stair parts using pick sheets or handheld scanners.
Preparing customer orders ready for dispatch.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Meeting daily picking targets while maintaining accuracy.
Following all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
What we're looking for:
A good level of physical fitness, as this role involves regular heavy lifting.
Ability to work efficiently in a target-driven environment.
A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Previous warehouse or picking experience is beneficial but not essential.
Please note:
This role is based within a timber manufacturing environment, so the warehouse can be dusty at times. Appropriate health and safety procedures and protective equipment are provided.
