The Role
As a Teaching Assistant – Aspiring Therapist, you'll support pupils through one-to-one assistance, small group interventions, and classroom support. You'll help children build confidence, develop independence, and overcome barriers to learning while gaining insight into careers within psychology, therapy, and child development.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Holds a degree in Psychology or a related subject (all degree backgrounds will be considered).
* Has a genuine interest in supporting children and young people.
* Is patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic.
* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Is considering a future career in therapy, psychology, counselling, or SEND.
Experience working with children through tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering, childcare, or SEND support is desirable but not essential.
