As an HGV Class 1 Weekend Driver, you will be responsible for: * Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to operate
* Arriving on time for your scheduled duties and informing the traffic office of any issues or delays
* Following all company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
* Completing all deliveries and collections as detailed on the manifest
* Complying with all EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
* Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and presentable ✅ Skills & Experience Required
To be considered for this role, you will need: * A full LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
* A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
* A valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Good communication skills
* Experience operating double-deck trailers
* Experience with containers (dock-compliant drivers would be advantageous)
