As a Roadside Technician, you'll benefit from: £41,600 base salary (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable) with a realistic OTE of £66,000, with top performers earning significantly more through bonus and enhanced overtime rates. Starting and finishing on your driveway, with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime available. About the role As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division, you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Whether it’s a flat battery, tyre change, or complex fault-finding, you’ll provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most. You'll work independently to diagnose faults, solve problems and help members continue their journeys safely. Every day brings different challenges, new environments and the opportunity to make an immediate impact when people need the RAC most. You'll combine technical expertise with great customer service, using the latest diagnostic technology to identify faults and get members back on the road quickly and safely.
