Job Title: GP Surgery Practice Nurse – Chelmsford
Location: Chelmsford
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced GP Surgery Practice Nurse to join a friendly GP practice team in Chelmsford . This is an excellent locum opportunity for a nurse who enjoys long term condition management, health promotion and building relationships with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage long term condition reviews to QOF standards.
- Undertake treatment room duties including dressings, injections and ECGs.
- Support the practice immunisation programme.
- Provide contraception and sexual health advice within competence.
- Work with the wider team to deliver safe, effective care.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- Experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
- Chronic disease management and immunisation experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
