JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced individual for a Nurse Prescriber job role in Newcastle to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. How to become a nurse prescriber in the UK?

Below are some general steps to which one can become a nurse prescriber in the UK:

Firstly, you must be a registered nurse from the the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC)
Secondly, you must meet the requirements set by the NMC which include having experience of at least a minimum of three years of post-registration. On these three years one must be in a clinical area in which you intend to prescribe.
