Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Kings Lynn
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive finance professional looking to play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy finance function.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records are maintained while supporting the preparation of management accounts and helping to improve financial processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate customer and supplier ledgers.
* Process and reconcile sales and purchase ledger transactions.
* Complete regular bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
* Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Support month-end and year-end processes.
* Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
* Assist in maintaining and improving financial controls and procedures.
* Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve finance queries.
* Provide general support to the wider finance team as required. About You The successful candidate will have: * AAT qualification.
* Previous experience in a similar accounting or assistant accountant position.
* Strong knowledge of sales ledger, purchase ledger and bank reconciliations.
* Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
* A proactive, positive approach with excellent communication skills. What's on Offer * Salary of £35,000 per annum .
