Sales Assistant

Job description

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join the Nora & Katie boutique team. Duties will also include operating the till, processing deliveries, merchandising stock, keeping the shop floor tidy and helping with the general day-to-day running of the boutique.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and actively drive sales
• Approach customers and offer styling and product advice
• Meet individual and team sales expectations
• Operate the till and process payments, returns and exchanges
• Replenish, merchandise and organise stock
• Maintain a clean, tidy and attractive boutique
• Work every second Saturday as part of the rota

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven sales experience in a retail environment
• Confident approaching customers and actively driving sales
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Genuine interest in clothing, fashion and styling
• Available to work every second Saturday

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a clothing boutique
• Experience providing styling and outfit advice
• Visual merchandising experience

Further Information

This is a permanent, part-time position for a minimum of 20 hours per week, working Monday, Tuesday, Friday and every second Saturday. Additional hours may be available for the right person. The successful applicant must have a genuine love of clothing and fashion, confidence approaching and advising customers, and the ability to build sales through excellent customer service.
