Class 2 Driver (HGV Class 2)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our growing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking regular weekday work with realistic workloads and modern, well-maintained vehicles. The Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised goods throughout the Midlands. - Deliver palletised goods across the Midlands region.
- Complete between 6 and 10 drops per day, depending on route and distance.
- Operate an 18-tonne vehicle safely and professionally.
- Side-tip pallet deliveries with occasional rear-door unloading.
- Ensure all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- 95% palletised deliveries.
- Minimal handballing, dependent on individual customer requirements.
- No long-haul routes or overnight stays.
- Modern fleet of vehicles, approximately 5 years old and maintained to a high standard.
- Consistent Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work required.
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Previous multidrop delivery experience preferred.
- Competitive pay rate of £15.00 per hour .
