- Blue CPCS A62 Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisor card or NPORS Lift Supervisor – essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Lift Supervisor role
- Strong knowledge of lifting plans, safe systems of work and lifting regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- An up-to-date CV
- Two recent work references
- Safety Critical Medical preferred but not essential
- Full PPE
- Supervising and coordinating lifting operations on site
- Ensuring all lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with the approved lifting plan
- Liaising with crane operators, slinger/signallers, appointed persons and site management
- Conducting pre-lift briefings and ensuring all personnel understand their roles and responsibilities
- Monitoring lifting operations and ensuring compliance with site health and safety procedures
- Identifying and reporting unsafe conditions or practices
- Ensuring lifting accessories and equipment are suitable for the planned operation
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity throughout the works
