An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NEC Supervisor to join our Contracts and Construction team at Hampshire County Council.

Are you someone with experience in Civil Engineering, specialising in Highways but wanting to increase your potential and add more? Would you like to gain professional experience and an academic qualification, whilst being paid? If so, then this exciting opportunity could be for you!

The Role:

If you are practically minded, able to work as part of a team, enjoy a mixture of outside and office-based work, are good at dealing with people and would like to help deliver exciting capital highway schemes in the beautiful County of Hampshire, then this exciting role is definitely for you.

What you’ll do:

Through delivering improvements to our existing highway network, the work that we do directly impacts the whole community. By joining us, you could be helping to make a positive difference for everybody that lives in, works in, or visits Hampshire.

 
As a Highway Technician, you will be assisting engineers in delivering a large variety of highway schemes throughout Hampshire, enabling the efficient running and delivery of the capital schemes.

What we’re looking for:

This position provides an opportunity for you to attend training and complete a Level 6 Civil Engineering Degree apprenticeship, to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours as set out in the apprenticeship standard.
