Account Executive

What we’re looking for

• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, accessible and engaging copy for different audiences.
• A genuine interest in current affairs, politics, stakeholder engagement, environmental issues and sustainability.
• A confident organiser who can help plan and deliver consultation events and engagement activity, often working to tight deadlines, coordinating logistics and equipment, and keeping things moving calmly when plans change.
• A positive can-do attitude, good initiative and the ability to roll your sleeves up and manage a varied workload that can change at short notice.
• Experience of, or a strong interest in, research, analysing feedback and data, and supporting the preparation of reports.
• Confidence in building strong working relationships with clients, community representatives, elected members, local organisations and stakeholders.
• Good judgement, attention to detail and an understanding of risk, with the confidence to think through challenges, suggest solutions and challenge how things are done when there is a better way.
• Creative flair, curiosity and an appetite to continually improve how we work, communicate and engage with communities.
• Digital confidence, including an understanding of how social media and digital channels can support engagement.
• As many of our campaigns and projects are bilingual, Welsh language skills — speaking, reading and writing — are desirable.
