History Teacher – Instil Academic Rigour and Historical Scholarship in a High-Performing North West School – Trafford (Manchester)
An ambitious and structured secondary school in Trafford, Manchester , requires a highly capable History Teacher committed to driving academic rigour from January 2026.
- History Specialist required from January 2026

You'll teach History across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE), focusing on securing high-level analytical fluency through highly structured lessons. The department uses a shared mastery scheme of work, providing excellent collaborative support and consistency across all classes.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a degree in History or a closely related Humanities field
- Experience or strong understanding of delivering challenging historical content
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively and deliver highly structured instruction
- Commitment to using data for targeted intervention and ensuring strong progress
