GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Tamworth .

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering careers in education, educational psychology, counselling, social work, or mental health support. As a Psychology Graduate TA , you will work closely with students who may require additional academic, emotional, or behavioural support, helping them engage positively in education.

Main Responsibilities of a Psychology Graduate TA:

* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students in the classroom
* Support students with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
* Help students develop confidence, social skills, and emotional regulation
* Build positive and trusting relationships with students
* Support behaviour management strategies and pastoral interventions
* Monitor and record student progress and wellbeing
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements of a Psychology Graduate TA:

* A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young people
* Interest in education, mental health, counselling, or educational psychology careers
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
