This is an opportunity to work for a multinational commodity trading company who are looking to add a Senior VAT Accountant.
The small nature of their in-house tax function means that you will be noticed and soon be an integral part of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Management of VAT compliance in line with current legislation
- Working closely with the wider finance team and external advisors, ensuring that relationships are managed well
- Preparation of Intrastat reports to each territory
- Preparation of EC Sales List movements between different jurisdictions
- Compiling local reports and analytical reviews
- Ad hoc project work
We are keen to hear from clients with:
- Strong knowledge of VAT or Indirect Tax - ATT or ACCA would be beneficial
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience working in either industry or a large complex business
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
Package:
- Up to £65,000 salary
- Bonus
